We are a third generation family business and are a new car & pick – up franchise holders for Proton, Perodua, Daihatsu, MG and Isuzu. Maple also stock quality used cars and light commercials especially from Vauxhall and SsangYong. Maple specialise in vehicles that are under 4 years old and under 40,000 miles. Maple also supply L.P.G equipped cars.
The sales manager and senior sales person together almost have 60 years cars sales experience so we offer ‘no hassle’. We hope to offer a great car buying experience and do offer great after care; full main dealer facilities are available.

1964 Mr.S.Burton commenced motor vehicle repair operation at Mappleton
East Yorkshire (Taking over an already established workshops).
The Vauxhall franchise was subsequently obtained. His 2 sons (Graham and John) were brought into the Company as they completed schooling.
1982 Mr. Burton (Snr) retires handing over control to the brothers.
1984 Flinton (Sproatley) site purchased. The former tractor/agricultural machinery sales and repair operation being replaced by used cars.
1986 The Rover franchise obtained for Sproatley.
1995 The Proton franchise obtained for Sproatley.
1997 The Perodua franchise obtained for Sproatley.
1998 The Daihatsu franchise obtained for Sproatley.
2000 Philip. Burton (son of John Burton) becomes third generation of family to join family business.
2007 Mappleton becomes satellite for Proton.
2008 Daihatsu regional dealer of the year Award Winners
2008 Maple LPG system adapted by Proton for the Ecologic range
